1) There will be a bed in a shared dorm 4 or 5 persons,if available.

2) If bed is not available, (being rented to guests) Queen bed in a semi private bed area will be available or (air mattress or couch)ple want to sleep in the same queen bed.

3) Also 2 friends, could live and sleep together. They would have a private room to sleep in at night in a queen size bed. But this is not necessary.

4)Housing cost includes a required breakfast, and free rice

Preference is someone from China or Taiwan Bilingual English and Mandarin. Hours are flexible but mostly in the morning from 7:30 am to 10:30 am.

Hostel Service Provider

Positions requires a versatile multi skilled individual to per housekeeping services: doing laundry, cleaning room, bathrooms, dormitories, kitchen etc., front desk services to include checking guests in and out, briefing guests on DC attractions and events, maintenance services to include making minor repair, painting, troubleshooting and maintain electronic equipment: DVD players, Karaoke equipment, television, computers etc., assist in marketing and planning, host games and entertainment for guests at the hostel, accompany guests on some events (i.e bike tours, trips to comedy clubs, etc) and other duties as assigned.

Although the position is for 30 hours per week, the hours are staggered and flexible as long as the housekeeping assignments are performed and there is someone available to check in and check out guests

This is a great opportunity for students to practice English, socialize with US and International students and professionals and experience US culture in Downtown Washington with a grocery store 2 minutes walk open 24 hours.

UNLIKE OTHER POSITION you will not be stuck in a kitchen or making beds all day. There is only a few hours a day devoted to cleaning. Instead you will check in and check out guests and prepare programs and participate in programs to make students enjoy their stay in Washington, DC.
