Personal Appearance and Hygiene • Natural, conservative make-up. • Clean shaven - no exceptions, if you cannot be clean shaven, you will not be allowed to work until you shave. • Mustaches must be neatly trimmed. • Prescription eyewear only. Dark or shaded lenses are not acceptable. • While working, employee facial or ear piercings must be stud / post type, and may not be of an excessive number. Due to safety concerns, no earrings or piercing may be of the hoop or dangling nature. No offensive tattoos allowed, visible tattoos are required to be covered, if possible. • One necklace is allowed and must be placed inside your shirt at all times. • Hair clean and combed - Long hair shall be pulled away from the face and eyes. It should be tied back or pinned up using simple, tasteful hair accessories. • Extreme hairstyles are not acceptable. Examples of extreme hair styles include but are not limited to: Mohawks, words or designs carved in the hair, glitter in the hair, highlighting and/or streaking that includes unnatural color such as purple, blue, orange, gold, etc. High tops or spike cuts taller than two (2) inch from the top of the head are not acceptable. • Hands: Our hands are the most common carriers of viruses and bacteria; therefore, clean hands are vital for preparing and serving food that is free of contamination and safe to eat. • Fingernails shall be no longer than one-half (1/2) inch. • Acrylic nails are the only non-natural nails allowed. • Nail polish or lacquer of any color is not permitted. • No Bracelets are allowed, two rings and one watch may be worn. Avoid wearing excessive, distracting jewelry. It should be moderate & conservative.
