$300.00 USD per month deducted from your pay but 50% is refundable if summer contract is completed (typically contracts end around September 4th). Housing consists of an 18' camping trailer with functioning stove and linens and cutlery are provided. It is nice and clean and allows you plenty of privacy. The camper is heated and equipped with electricity. The camper is in a private area near our bathroom facilities. You will have access to laundry facilities as well.

We are only needing to hire 2 employees who can speak and understand fluent English and would prefer an applicant who could also speak German. We are not gender specific but the majority of our housekeepers have been female in the past while our office workers male. Housekeeping duties: We are seeking a housekeeper that appreciates this and is not afraid to provide a little extra TLC when needed. We are in the wilderness so you may have to kill the occasional insect (this area has limited amounts but usually very small house spiders, mosquitoes, bees, and small flies) and stop to enjoy a passing Moose or two. Our housekeeper would provide daily cleaning of 10 cabins, showerhouse, wash and fold laundry, and any additional housekeeping assignments. Front Office Duties: Greet and check-in guests, provide basic information about the Denali Park area (you will learn upon training), book local activities for guests, accept payments for lodging and or store items (have small gift store), maintain clean and safe work environment, and additional duties as assigned. Sometimes you may fill in and assist with housekeeping duties. This position requires someone who speaks fluent English. Bilingual would be excellent as we get many global guests including German, Dutch, Russian, and Japanese. Misc: There are 3 restaurants across the street from us and the Pizza Pub normally has entertainment. There are frequently rides available from one of the local shuttles up the park and a bus available to Fairbanks and Anchorage. We can offer a ride from the airport to our lodge upon hire and end of contract but if your employment is terminated for any reason you are responsible for your own transportation off the property. We offer free wireless internet near the office but the area does not get a TV signal. Many of our past employees brought movies with them to use on their laptops. There is plenty of opportunities for hiking, backpacking, flight seeing, white water rafting, and many more outdoor activities.

Closed toed comfortable shoes. Attire recommendations are made during interview process. We do not care about piercings or hair length for the housekeeping position. Our weather can be quite unpredictable so good rain gear, layers, and head lamp (for dark nights in late Aug and early Sept) are highly recommended. We work regardless of the weather.
