Housing description:
Mountain Meadow Ranch is a co-ed, sleep-away summer camp for kids ages 7 to 16. We have enjoyed 61 summers of family-owned and operated summer camp life, our current directors are our third generation! Uniquely located on a spacious 900-acre ranch north of Lake Tahoe, in the northeastern slopes of the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains. We are nestled between the preserved natural beauty of the Lassen and Plumas National Forests, and the wild desert of the Great Basin. We offer a traditional camp program during the best weeks of summer. Our unique summer camp philosophy allows campers to bond and become like family through the many activities we provide.
Room and Board is . Our support staff cabin houses up to 4 people, all traditionally being female. The cabin is nestled amongst the gorgeous pines near our lagoon. The cabin is a short 5 min walking distance to the dining hall working facility. Though the cabin can be described as rustic, it's cozy and comfortable. The living space is carpeted with bunk beds and windows looking out at the forest. The bathroom is conjoined to the living space and has a toilet, shower and sink area. No cooking facility is the living quarters, all meals are prepared at the camp kitchen dining hall facility. Staff will have access to fridge space, cupboard space for any additional food needs.
TIME OFF: All responsibilities and duties are done in shifts. Daily time off occurs at the end of each shift when the job is done. Approx working Hours: 7 am-10 am, 11:30 am-2:30 pm, 5:00 pm-8:00 pm 24 HOURS OFF WEEKLY.
Our supportstaff are a vital part of our camp family! Proving food service and caring for our camp family through the food provided, laundrey and cleanliness of the dinning hall facility is a huge part of the health and wellness of our campers and staff alike. Support staff responsibiities are shared amogst 5-6 persons; duties may include, dishwashing, pots and pans, food prep, bathroom/dinning hal/kitchen cleaning and laundrey. As a support staff it is possible you may be assiting in any of the listed jobs.

Seeking biggingger to intermidiate english proficiency,experience is helpful but not required, a positivie willing to learn attiude is all that arequired, a love for people ands service focused work, open to working with a varitey of cultures, open to groups of friends but unable to accomodate couples due to houseing.
Dress code:
No uniform, staff shirts provided for opening and closing days. Practicing good health and hygiene and demonstrating a clean lifestyle. Apron and any other kitchen attire will be provided.
