We will set up housing in an extended stay hotel. There will be 2 students per room. The price will include utilites and wifi. All rooms have a kitchenet. Sweetwater will provide all kitchen cookware. The housing is 6-10 miles from work locations. You can get to work by riding a bike, or scoooter, or using public transportation.

We would like for students to have a intermediate level of English prficiency. A first year lifeguard will make $9.00 per hour and an experienced lifeguard will make $9.25 per hour. We have worked with students from Russia, Czech Republic, and Slovacia with great success. We are willing to talk to students from other countries as well. We encourage students to come as groups, and we have no problem hiring couples. The lifeguards will be assigned to multi-guard pools with American students. It is unlikely that international students will work at the same locatioin as their friend. We are flexible with the start date. We will accept students arrival from late May to mid June. We would like them to stay through September 3. We will offer a $150 per week (starting September 4) bonus for students that can stay until September 17th.

Tattoos must be non-offensive. Most facilities will require that they be covered while on duty. No facial piercings are allowed while on duty. Must be in Sweetwater uniform (red guard suit, t-shirt, red shorts, whistle, hip pack). Uniform cost: guard suit $24-$28 US. The rest of the uniform: $35
