Housing description:
I offer housing for free for some work at my place. So, I don't pay salary.
Additional info:
I have a large 3 bedroom house on the bay, beautiful, that I rent for $6000
for the season-through October. In all there are three houses I own on the bay
that are all somewhat storm beaten and the work I have in mind is heavy repairs,
light repairs, painting, and cosmetics. My thinking is that if i had six students
staying at the house at, say $1000 a piece for the season, and that I paid them
$8 per hour when I need them at the marina, but that they would be free to work
also in town. I couldn't give them 40 hours per week, probably only 10. But
they would be staying in a most beautiful environment. Students studying any
sort of marine biology, or with an interest in literature and history would
warm to this place. I could especially use someone with a knowledge of water
wells,and water purification concepts and practices as we are preparing proposals
for new water wells, and are in the system design stages... i share that only
for the remote chance their is such a student and that he or she would be working
1 mile away as a ride attendant and he or she could have been here, if only
I had said something. This small fishing village is extremely family oriented
