Housing description:
Housing will be in a residential area .Two sharing or maximum 3 to a large room. Two batrooms per house with sitting room and kitchen. Work site within 5 miles but possibly close 1 mile.
Additional info:
Kitchen work is mainly cold section,Salades,Soups. New York style sandwiches,
Panninis etc. Basic server. Good happy personality for high volume. Some employees
will be cross trained to help other sections.
Salary: $7 to $9 starting wage depending on position. All wage levels above
the minimum Mississipi State minimum.
My wife and I are English with permanent residency (green cards) in the USA
and have lived here for seven years. We have a new restaurant opening in August/September.This
is a franchise so recognised in the south eastern part of the USA. All employees
will be treated well as per the labor laws of the USA. This is a wonderful opportunity
for students to practice their language skills and experience the cultural exchange.Some
basic kitchen or wait skills would help but full training will be given to all
positions. Culinary students would be most welcome. My wife & I have worked
in six countries overseas. Europe, Southeast Asia and the Middle East so understand
the challenges of leaving your own country to go abroad.
Dress code:
As this is a smart casual dining restaurant employees must have good apperance.no
face or tongue piercing during work hours. A reasonable command of spoken English is required. Employees purchase own khaki pants/shoes.
