Resort is right on Lake Michigan one of the Great Lakes. Amazing location and a great opportunity to be near fresh water, outdoor activities and great views.
- Staff needs to be comfortable with our very beautiful but also very remote location. We are NOT in the city, there are villages within 3-5 miles but NOT NEAR A CITY. This has become a problem for the students before because most of them are students living in a city. They closest small city is Sturgeon Bay (one hour by car) and Green Bay is larger (two hours by car). Green Bay is where the airport is.
- In our beautiful area we have lots of wildlife including whitetail deer, variety of birds, bats, snakes and spiders. Some students are uncomfortable with this.
- We need staff that can stay as late as possible into the season. We are actually busy until the middle or end of October. I realize that most students cannot stay that long but the later the better.
- We hire girls as housekeepers and boys as dishwashers and cooks. It is possible that these students would get more job opportunities once they arrive here based on their flexibility, good attitude, work abilities and level of English. We don’t know these traits until they arrive and we can work together.
Dress code:
Uniform shirt to be provided. Employee must provide black slacks, socks, non-slip shoes. Light colored undergarments for girls (light colored shirt). Hair must be clean neatly bound if long. Light to moderate make-up and jewelery. No facial or visible piercings besides conservative earing. No visible tatoos. No smoking during work shift.
