Housing description:
One-two persons per room in a job site bunk-house which moves every week with a traveling amusement park. Required to bring own bedding and bathing supplies. Shower and restroom facility is provided. No cooking facility provided. Transportation to each job site is provided along with crew trips to laundry facilities and grocery stores/restaurants. We are asking for $100 security deposit with hopes that this year students will respect and keep the housing clean.

We would like to reiterate to applicants before they accept these positions that this is a professional traveling amusement park/carnival that will require physical labor; setting up and tearing down amusement rides and games. They will also be required to operate the rides and games. Girls' work is food concessions and light to medium physical labor for set up and tear down. Training will be provided. RIDE OPERATOR POSITIONS INCLUDE MANDATORY ASSEMBLY AND DISASSEMBLY OF AMUSEMENT DEVICES. We would like the hired applicants to be in Syracuse, New York ready to start work in May/June, 2011 (we would like them to arrive as early as possible so we can give them a training). End date if possible will be preferably Sept 17, 2011 or a little earlier if they really need to leave earlier. Important: students need to have good English skills, otherwise their employment will not work with us if they don't speak and understand English. We will be moving in upstate and western N.Y.
Dress code:
Appearance must be family-friendly; no vulgar piercings or tattoos. Good personal hygiene is mandatory. Must launder own uniform provided by employer.
