Qualifications & Requirements
• Program Instructors/ Specialists are required to teach a specific activity/ program at camp.
• Applicants must demonstrate a strong aptitude in their specialty area and must have experience teaching or coaching children.
• All new applicants must be at least 18-years-old
• We currently have the following summer camp job openings: (Program Areas might be specific to the camp)
• Adventure: Reptile Handling & Caring, Outdoor Survival Skills, Hiking & Exploring, Outdoor/ Open Fire Cooking, Food Canning, Fitness, Astronomy,
• Aquatics: Pool and Waterfront lifeguards. Candidates must have current lifeguard certification or must obtain lifeguard certification prior or during staff training (must show very strong swimming skills and be able to demonstrate all strokes efficiently)
• Arts & Crafts: General Arts and Crafts, Jewelry, Woodworking, Dark Room Photography, Sewing/ Knitting/ Hand Crafting, Drama/ Theater, Drumming/Musicians & Vocalist
• Athletics: Candidates need to be knowledgeable/ efficient in one-two of the following sports: Basketball, Soccer, Field Hockey, Volleyball, Flag Football, Recreational Field Games, Archery, Mountain Biking, and Zumba & Dance, Circus, Wrist Rockets, Martial Arts & Yoga
• Challenge Course: Candidates should have former experience and/ or certifications in in High Ropes, Low Ropes, Teambuilding, Zip Lines, Climbing Tower, Rock Climbing
• Equestrian (Camp Whittle Only): candidates must have at least 2 years of horse handling experience
• Support Staff: Food & Beverage Aids
• Housekeeping (Camp Round Meadow Only): Campus Care
