This is a private bedroom which is 8 ft by 12 ft with a bathroom down the hall which is shared with one other person (Male or female). No smoking, cooking or open flames of any kind are allowed in the room. The house kitchen is available for preparing meals. Breakfast is provided before 9am. The rooms are located on premises.

The job is paid piece meal at $10 per room with a $2 per room bonus. The average room takes 30 minutes to clean. Providing clean rooms is extremely important in our business. So attention to detail is a requirement for the job. A good worker should make $20 per hour with an additional bonus. If you are not making your bonus you will not keep your job. We have 13 rooms between three locations all in walking distance of each other. The work day generally start at 9am and is complete by 1pm which leaves time for a second job or time to enjoy your stay in Alaska. A couple or two friends can work together as a team making time more available for second jobs. Conversational English, enough to learn job requirements is sufficient. We are located in the center of town so getting around is easy. The use of a bicycle is provided. We are a small business that operates like a family. We like hiking, fishing and the outdoors. We pay per room, but the average monthly income in the peak months (Jun/Jul/Aug) is $2,000.

No uniform required. While on the premises cloths must be clean, without wholes or excessive wear. Body piercing ornaments must be removed while on the job or in the presences of guest unless prior arrangements are made with management
