I have a Bed & Breakfast in Alaska and would like to hire a student that can learn to cook breakfast, serve it, and clean up afterwards. I would like to have the freedom to travel to our cabin on the weekends and know that this student could take care of my guests in my absence. I have just one suite that sleeps up to 6 guests in the suite, although most of the time it is just 2 people. Weekly responsibilities would include housekeeping for 8500 sq ft, and gardening on a 2 acre lot. The student must have good English skills so that they could answer the phone and take reservations. I would like a photo of the student in their application, either male or female. I would also like someone who could start May 1st, even though I usually do not have guests until late May, this would give me time to train him/her in the kitchen and get the gardens in shape before guests arrive. We are a Christian family and would prefer a student of our faith. I am offering $6.00 per hour for 6-8 hours per day. The student will have their own bedroom and all meals in our home are included in their pay. It would be best if they had a drivers license. Should the student desire more hours, I should be able to find other work for them in the B&B association I belong to. An end of season bonus we offer is having my husband do some dentistry if it is needed. It is desirable if the student is able to stay until Sept 15th.
